Gina's 2nd chance
Gina was surrendered by her family to Miami Dade Animal Services. They just moved from Mexico with her and didn't want to give Gina the time and patience to get used to her new home.
Gina is 11, blind & declawed and very scared not understanding where her family is and why she was abandoned. Thankfully the shelter reached out to all rescue partners asking for some help to get her out of there. We reached out to Blind Cat Rescue and they offered to give her a place in their sanctuary for her but we only have a week to get there as their are other cats that need the spaces also. We must get her fully vetted to make sure she is healthy with no significant issues before her journey to North Carolina. For the airfare and vetting, we are estimating at least $850 that we will need. Once the arrangements are made and she has received proper vetting we will have a better idea of how much is needed (whether more or less). Gina needs our help right now. We only have 7 days to get her there. We need a volunteer to fly her roundtrip from Florida to North Carolina.
